Jay Cobble, a native Knoxvillian, joined Blue Ridge in May 2006 as a commercial agent where he focuses on tenant representation and site location as well as sales. He has worked on all sides of transactions for various clients ranging from small entreprenuers to multinational corporations and even with local and federal government. Jay has already closed on more than 20 million dollars of real estate deals in 2010.

Jay serves on the Economic and Community Development Committee for the Knoxville Chamber Partnership and volunteers to grow East Tennessee business in many civic groups. Jay came to Blue Ridge from Highwoods Properties in Memphis and he is also pursuing his education toward the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Jay graduated from the University of Tennessee Magna Cum Laude with a major in finance and collateral in management where he was the president of the Executive Undergraduate Program and served on the College of Business Administration Leadership Team. Jay spent a post-graduate year in the 2PC Fellows Program in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jay volunteers with Young Life at Webb School of Knoxville. He serves on the Board of Directors for 4 Market Square and the Dogwood Arts Festival. Jay is also a founder and current Chairman of the Knoxville Fellows Program.
